Wallpaper is back!

Yes it is true. Wallpaper is back with a fresh, up to date look.  Gone are days of “scrubbable” florals in pastel colors.  I recently was researching at the Design Center and came across the Fromental line of wallpaper. This beautiful hand made silk coverings are breathtaking to experience.  The showroom I was in had one large wall covered with the cherry blossom design and of course my mind went wild.

In this series you can select the type of layout you want, for example the cherry blossoms or willow, and then choice from six different color palettes.  Classic and timeless.

Another line that I really like is by Wallteriors.  They are an eco-consicous and earth friendly company and go the extra mile to ensure that they are using and shipping products eco-consicously.  They are all made of paper and provide an enormous amount of texture and interest to any room.  I especially love the Leaf, Trowelled and new Arbor collections.
