Liven Up Your Bathroom With Color!
As you may know, bathroom and kitchens are important rooms in every home and are often the spaces that have many considerations when remodeling or updating.

When updating a master bathroom or powder room, determine how you want to feel in your space first. This will help you stay focused on the colors and textures you want to have in your room. Then select a paint color early in the process so that the tile, flooring and fixture selections will be easier.

Consider using several types and sizes of tile for your flooring, shower floor and walls and vanity backsplash. Compliment the tile with the paint color to bring cohesiveness to the room.
In all these images above, imagine each with no paint color on the walls. How would the space feel if it had white walls? Totally different. Use the paint color as your foundation to build upon so your new bathroom will be everything your heart desires. Enjoy!

New Bathroom Addition
Every busy member of a family needs there own space within a home. This family of five added second floor addition to their existing 1980’s home. The husband and wife are both physicans and were in desperate need of a separate master suite. They desired a bathroom to have a spa like, contemporary feel.
The blue green wall tiles have a grey colored circular insert in each which makes them feel very modern. We related the insert with the circular shape of the glass mosaic tiles that are on the shower floor, tub surround and shower wall accent. Authentic Home COLOR Paint in River Rock was applied to the walls and Champagne on Ice was applied to the ceiling.

Bathroom Inspirations
Recently I have been hired to design 2 master bathrooms and I’ve been inspired by several things that I wanted to share with you. The first are blue /green colors of Sky, Beach Glass and Creme de Menthe. I love the crisp, clean feel the color provides especially when paired with white china (toliet/sink) and a marble such as Carerra, Calcutta or Creme Marfil. I also love using glass mosaic tiles that have a translucent effect. It can transform a bathroom instantly and convey a feeling a tranquility and serenity. And all that is left is a new window covering or shower curtain made from one of these beautiful fabrics.
Enjoy these inspirations as I have. I hope they will inspire you to create or remodel your own bathroom scantuary.
