Lavendar Festival

Last weekend my friend and colleage Marcia and I attended the annual Lavendar festival in Sequim, WA.  We both had heard wonderful things about it for several years and finally this was the year we needed to experience it for ourselves. And I am so glad we did!

The shades of purples and blues were spectacular.  I felt like I was in Provence France.

If you ever are in the Seattle area during July, do try to visit Sequim and the beautiful lavendar farms.  You are not only surrounded by the gorgoeous lavendar, you also have the breathtaking Olympic Mountains and the ocean to take in.  Enjoy and try to imagine breathing in the relaxing lavendar today!

Blog Talk Radio

Friday I was interviewed by Karen Erickson for her Blog Talk Radio show called Home Fashions U.  Karen and I met at a local vendor fair this past spring and she was excited to learn more about Authentic Home COLOR Paint and that it is eco-friendly.  I was thrilled to be part of this new way of sharing information!

Some of the shows intro is below.  Click on the link below to hear the entire interview.  Enjoy!

While most little girls twirled around toy stores, Kathy Banak was in heaven at the local fabric shop. Even as a young girl in Connecticut, she was drawn to color and design and would spend hours mixing and matching color palettes and fabrics.
